Samson Clan: Our Year 2012

I can't believe it has been so long since I have written. A lot has happened since my last post ONE YEAR AGO!!! In March Hannah turned 7 years old. Where has the time gone. She is such a sweet child. In April Cody started working for the Weiser City Police Department. YAY closer to home. He is home every night or at least he can come home for dinner. It has been great having him home. May and June were pretty busy with Hannah playing softball but we enjoyed every minute watching her play. Also on May 28th Parker Ryan was born. Congrats to my sister Sarah and bro in law Clint. He did have to spend time in the NICU in Boise but was able to come home in August. He has made so much progress since. What a blessing!

On June 28th I was hauling a trailer with a shed on it back from Payette with Cody riding behind on his motorcycle at 10pm at night. This was my 1st time ever hauling anything and I was so nervous so I had asked Cody to follow me. We were going about 50 mph when I looked in my side mirror and saw Cody and his motorcycle go down. All I could see was his head light spinning because it was dark out. I pulled over the truck as fast as I could and told the girls to stay in the truck while I went to find dad. When I found him he was on the side of the road and was talking and saying he was ok. I went back and got the girls and we stayed with him until the ambulance got there and then my in-laws took our girls to my mom and dad's while I went with Cody to the hospital. Cody had Angels with him that night. He had a burn on his hand and on his arm but the only thing that was broken was his pinkie knuckle. He was very sore for a couple of weeks. We have such wonderful people in our lives. My parents, in-laws, friends and all the people that Cody works with. When the other offices found out who was in the accident they showed up at the hospital. It was so nice to have everyone there.

On August 5th I was able to be in the delivery room with my sis Stacy and bro in law Lyndon to witness my other nephew, Collyn James, be born. What a blessing. He is such a sweet baby just like his big brother Alden.

We also had my sister, Stacy, take our family pictures again this year. She does a wonderful job.
