Funny Sayings

I had to explain to Hannah that her Grandpa Herring passed away and she couldn't see him anymore. She was so upset and crying. On the way to daycare Friday morning, she asked me if Jesus cuts you up when you go to heaven. When she asked the question I was so shocked. I told her that Jesus loves on you and kisses and hugs you. She seemed to be fine with that. When I got to work I asked my dad what I should think of that because I don't know where she could have gotten that. My dad, with a smirk on his face, replied 'What does Cody tell her when he is cutting up his deer and ducks'. I rushed down to my desk, called Cody and told him he would be explaining to her the difference between hunting animals and human beings.

I told my mom and grandma the story and all they could do is laugh. The way kids minds work is amazing. They don't forget anything.

Hayden is on the go!! She is walking everywhere and into everything. He new trick is she likes to climb up on the chairs. The other day I caught her climbing up onto the table. Once she gets up she can't get down. She is more like her mama. She is not a risk taker like her sister.

Just keep my mom and her sisters in your prayers while they are going through a difficult time with their father passing away.

Until next time,

Susan

My grandpa Herring passed away on January 21st, 2009. Hannah just loved him. She would run up to him with her arms wide open and yell "Grandpa". He would just get a smile on his face. She is having a really hard time with it because she can't see him anymore. It is a hard concept to learn at her age about going to heaven. She just doesn't understand.

On a good note we get to go to Portland for his funeral and see all my aunts and uncles. I am really excited because my mom has not been with all of her sisters since I was in the 5th grade. It will be neat to see how everyone has changed. Hannah is excited for the pool. That is the only thing she wants to do is swim.

Stacy asked her the other day about being a flower girl in their wedding. Hannah of course said yes. So yesterday Stacy showed Hannah her flower basket. They are so cute they look like little purses. I am excited for my sister to marry Lyndon. He is so good with our kids. It is fun to watch them.

Hayden is starting to talk and it is so fun to listen to her. She tries so hard to keep up with her sister. Someday she will get there.

Until next time
