Family Pictures 2011

My sister loves taking pictures so we asked her this year if she would take ours. She did a wonderful job. We love all of them. It is hard to choose which ones to hang up in our house.

We went up to the Institute and had some pictures taken. It was a little chilly so we would have the girls take a picture and then put their coats back on.

We took some family pictures while we were there. Hayden is such a ham. Stacy said that she didn't see her stick out her tongue while taking the picture.

After freezing our hind ends off we headed to Grandma Kay's house. The girls love it out there because she has chickens.

This November our baby turned 4. She is getting so big. We love having conversations with her. What a sweetheart!

8 years ago today we lost the most wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. My Grams! She was such a sweet person. We love you and miss you and will see you again.

Hannah's last day of Kindergarten

My sweet Hannah is graduating from Kindergarten today. She has grown up so much this year. I love listening to her read her books every night. She has learned so much this school year. Dad and I love you so much. I am so proud to be your mommy.

Girls Dressed Themselves!!!

I always pick out what the girls are going to wear each day. I want them to match and to look like little ladies. I decided that they could dress themselves and this is what I got:

I had to just take a deep breath and let them play. They are 6 and 3 and so no one is going to care what outfits they wear to play outside.

The worst part of all is that it stained their faces and Hannah had to go to school with her cheeks a little redder than normal and Hayden went to daycare the same way.

On my lunch one day I went to my sisters to see Alden. He gets a huge grin on his face when you talk to him. I just had to take a picture.

New member of the family

A couple weeks ago we had a cat come in our front door and make our home his home. I kept putting him back outside but the girls kept letting him in. Hayden kept telling me he is "Friendly". I came home during lunch and Cody was sitting with the cat on his lap. Even though I didn't want another cat I think we now have one.

Since he was staying we had to come up with a name for him. Hannah and I decided on "Smokey". He is a very loving and pretty cat.

Happy Birthday to my Hannah Banana. I can't believe 6 years ago I gave birth to a wonderful baby girl. I didn't realize how much joy and love she would bring Cody and I. She is such a a blessing.
