December 2013

We were so busy in December. Between Christmas programs and dance performances we were on the go all month long. Our church had a Christmas program the Sunday before Christmas. The girls did wonderful. Hannah played Mary and Hayden was a horse. Yes I know I have never seen a horse in a nativity scene before but she would not be a sheep. When we told her she was going to be a sheep she said, "I don't want to be a sheep. I don't like sheep. I want to be a horse." Well they found her a horse costume. All the kids did a wonderful job.

We have Hannah in Dance again this year and Hayden is Tumbling. It has been really hard since my sister moved away and that has been Hannah's teacher since she was 3 years old but they are both doing wonderful. Hannah this year got to perform at one of the High School Basketball games. Her group did great. They are dancing to the song "Cruisin for a Brusin" from the Teen Beach Movie. This song fits the group so well. I can't believe how grown up she looks. What a beautiful girl she has become inside and out.

Christmas Morning we all were up early because the kids were so excited to open presents. They rushed upstairs to see what they received. Hannah and Hayden both got IPods from us. What a great investment. After our morning at home we headed over to my parents for Christmas Dinner. The kids opened presents over there also and were so happy with what they got. We had such a relaxing day after that.

On December 26th we heading to Pendleton with my parents to stay the night at Wildhorse Casino & Resort. They had an indoor pool so that is all the kids wanted to do was swim. Hayden doesn't know how to swim yet so she was staying by the side of the pool. I went to see if the gift shop to see if they had any float toys that she could wear so she could swim around the pool. When I got back Cody told me that Hayden had gone too far where she couldn't touch and was trying to stay above water. My mom yelled for my brother Johnny and he jumped in and got her and carried her out. He is now her "Hero". She wants to do everything with him. We are planning a trip to Disneyland and she keeps saying that she will be with Uncle Johnny riding the rides. What a great Uncle. We love you!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year!

November 2013

Well I always seem to fall behind on keeping up with my blog. The girls keep us busy. I can't believe that Miss Hayden turned 6 years old. She is my sassy, talkative, outgoing girl. She sure keeps Cody and I on our toes. She is the child that always has something to say. Everyone calls her Jabber Jaws and they are correct.

Every time we go to the store she wants to get a balloon and every time I say NO. On her birthday I surprised her by taking her to Ridley's and getting her a "Happy Birthday" balloon. She was so happy. Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!!!

Since Lyndon & Stacy have moved we were so excited that they were going to be able to come for Thanksgiving. The girls loved that Alden and Collyn were "Home" as they put it. It was a very relaxing day. I just can't believe how our family has grown. We had to put together 3 tables to fit all of us. Altogether there is 18. What a blessing it is to have such a wonderful family.

August & September 2013

In August Cody and I celebrated our 10th anniversary. We have had our ups and downs but he is my best friend and I wouldn't want my life any other way. I love you babe!!!

Also in August my sister, Stacy, and her family moved to Willows, CA. This has been really hard to get used to. She was at the hospital when my girls were born, Hannah walked to her house every day after school and she taught them dance and tumbling. I was at the hospital when both of my nephews were born and would go over almost every day at lunch to see them and give her a little break if she needed it. My girls have had a really hard time with it especially Hannah.

We went to the first football game here in town and Hannah started crying. She said it isn't the same without Aunt Stacy and wanted to know who was going to do her hair for homecoming. Little did she know that we had already set it up that Stacy, Alden and Collyn would be here. Lyndon couldn't come since he just started at Willows Christian Church. It was so neat when Stacy walked into my parents house and Hannah turned around and ran right to her. She loves her Aunt Stacy. It didn't take long for all the other kids to realize she was here.

Watching the Homecoming Parade

On the weekend my dad took us all out to go fishing. The kids had so much fun but no one would touch the fish that were caught. It was so nice to have everyone together. I miss those to little boys.

More Summer 2013

The kids have had a great summer. It went by way to fast. The kids had a picnic lunch in our front yard, went to VBS and went to the Payette County Rodeo.
